We would like as best we
can to reach
every former student who might be interested in attending a school
reunion in 2009. We feel the road of life has taken
some of
us far
away from our little community where the Evergreen School once was.
The fact that Evergreen served more than 50 years
and that
more than one generation has passed through it's doors has
made it difficult to locate everyone. Considering we have
found
basically no records of the school, most of the contacts we have been
able to make have been from just simply talking to people and their
being willing to share information and names, and also from school
pictures that some have kept over the years. This website is
an
attempt to reach at least some of those we have missed, hoping that
some of the former students are web surfers, will land on our site and
be able to contact us. If you are a former student,
land
on our site and would like information about our next reunion or would
just like to communicate, please email us at the link below.
We
have enjoyed visiting with our fellow students the past three reunions
and look forward to hearing from you.
In appreciation of all the hard work our committee chairman has done in preparing for the reunion in 2008, how about giving her some time in the spotlight with a little web space and some time lapse photography...........one day your are there........and before you know it.....you are here. Sandy, can you explain that transition? And also for her helpers !!

Now
that the
2008 reunion is past, we will still be adding information to the
website from time to time, but I have a feeling the reunion committee
will take a couple of days off to rest up before the planning of the
2009 reunion (they may be able to use a couple of snow days for
these!).
Please continue to visit our site and send us any information you
may
have. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone this year and look
forward to seeing you again next year, so start making plans now to
attend Evergreen School reunion in
2009........it's just like summer vacation........we can hardly wait.

have put a page of memories on the website, but would like to have
your help in making it better. If there are things you remember
that
were special to you at Evergreen, memories of specific happenings, daily routine, things you learned, names of school books that were used, the years you attended, names of your teachers, 4-H, Christmas Plays........any memories of Evergreen, please email us with them and allow us to share them with others. Thanks Does anyone have any of the schoolbooks or other materials that were used at Evergreen? We would be interested in displaying them at the next reunion....or maybe just a picture of them to display?
